Here in Clovis and Curry County, we use a community alerting system called Nixle. This system will send you text messages and/or emails with important community information, mostly weather information.
Here is some information on signing up to receive these alerts:
- Text Messages:
- Sign up by texting “88101” to 888777. This will sign you up to receive all weather warnings via text messaging.
- To sign up for weather watches, text “clovisnws” to 888777 after your initial text.
- To unsubscribe to the service, text “stop” to 888777.
